First Steps

Sophia decided to take her first steps today. I thought that she would test the water first and let go of the couch and gingerly put one foot out and then the next. I should have learned by now that Sophia does things her own way. She launched herself across the room. I nearly had a heart attack. I thought she was falling. She went from the ottoman and took about five quick steps across the room. Chris jumped up and grabbed the video camera. We got her walking a few times. Right now it is just launching herself forward and hoping her feet can catch up to her momentum.
