Happy Birthday Aunt Michelle

We went to the beach to celebrate Aunt Michelle's birthday. Sophia swam in the waves, played in the sand, made some new friends and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. She had such a great time hanging out at the beach. She had her own little beach chair that she could have all to herself.

Sophia's bike

Sophia got a new trike for her birthday. She is in love with bikes. Every time she sees one, she wants to ride it. Every time we go to the store, she she gets on them and wants to ride them. She almost has the peddling motion down, but resorts to scooting the bike along when she gets stuck.

Disneyland

We had a great time at Disneyland before I had to go back to work. Sophia loved meeting Mickey and Alice. She shook her booty at the rock and roll parade. She loved going on the rockets and Pirates. She loves the drop. We also went on the haunted mansion, and Sophia was so excited that she got to take the hitchhiking ghost home. It is great that she is finally remembering her visits to Disneyland.

We had a great vacation in Hawaii. Sophia loved the plane and did a great job. She played and watched a movie. We took a red eye home so she was asleep for most of the plane ride. She made herself quite comfortable across the three of us :). Sophia loved going from the pool to the beach, to the lagoon and back again. Our hotel was right on the beach so the pool and our room was steps from the beach. We had to go down to the beach next door to get some good sand but it was worth it. One day we rented a car and drove around the island. All in all it was a great vacation with the family.

Birthday Party

Since we will be in Hawaii for Sophia's birthday party, we had a little party on Monday to celebrate with her friends. It was a great playdate and Sophia got to play with all of her friends. The cake was a big hit with all of the toddlers. We also had a coloring session with the toddlers and they loved it :) Sophia was so excited to have her friends over to celebrate with her.

Miss Independant

Sophia has now learned to put on her own shoes. This time she was a little baffled, but most of the time she gets it right. Our little one is growing up so fast.
